Beware of Email – Paypal Account Review Department

Today, i received an email, subject as “Account Review Department” from PayPal ([email protected]). This email said my Paypal account is limited access due to some fault credit card cases, request download the attached form and open in my browser to restore my Paypal password.

It’s just a funny email, how can i trust an email which is from webssl.com instead of paypal.com? Paypal will never send email and ask for password restore. I can guarantee this is 1000% fault or spam email which try to still my Paypal password. Just delete it, start wonder where they have my Paypal information….

Email’s body as follow :

I received an email saying that I have had strange activities on my account. As far as I know, I don’t have an account. If I do, I have never used it. The ref #PP-259-187-991 is what was on the email. H E L P

I received a similar email but I didn’t look at the sender and I clicked on the link.
Now when I try to exit out of my Internet Explorer it keeps putting additional web pages up – NOT ALWAYS but often. I guess I got a bug.

I’ll look more closely next time. But what can I do not that I already have it. Why didn’t my virus protection keep me from getting this????

I got a similar email except they excluded the cordial introduction at the beginning and immediately went to dire mode. I know paypal won’t send me an email because I always get phone calls on my cell and they freeze my account automatically as a precaution. Which is cruddy if I have stuff I’m paying for or if I don’t answer the phone. Rarely do they leave a voicemessage. Normally just a name and number please call us back.

Forgot to add, this is the “address” that the email comes from: [email protected]

So they even know I have a UK account. I hate these people.

I’ve received it too but now it’s got the correct PayPal address as the sender. Marking it as Spam, now puts all notification of PayPal transactions in my spam folder. Not a show stopper but very annoying

There is a scam company scaming paypal.com, sending out e-mails asking for your credit card information. Watch out they are fake.

There is another coming scaming http://www.LoanStaff.com Domain Name trying to get your ID information. If you go to Google and put in http://www.LoanStaff.com, the Scam site will come up at the top or on the side of the page in the sponsored links. Click on it and you will see it is a fake but do not enter any information. The real http://www.LoanStaff.com has put up funny “Loan Shark” warning on their site take a look.
